Ovarian Cancer Survivors’ Dinner
Dr. Karen Finkelstein hosted the Southwest Gynecologic Oncology 11th Annual Ovarian Cancer Survivors’ dinner on September 18, 2013.
Honored guests included more than 50 of the 99 SWGYNONC patients who have overcome ovarian cancer stage 3 or higher.
The evening celebrated their courage, strength, and faith in overcoming ovarian cancer.
Surviving Ovarian Cancer
Statistically 1 in every 70 women will develop the disease at some time in her life, with half of those cases occurring after the age of 65.
