Dear Valued Patient,

We are aware that Governor Grisham declared a state of emergency for New Mexico.  She is making that decision in order to act with the highest level of concern for ALL New Mexicans.

Southwest Women’s Oncology practices with the highest quality of health standards and safety.  Due to the fear and concern of the Coronavirus, we have taken extra measures to protect ourselves and our patients.

We have and continue to wipe down all surfaces before, during, and after each appointment.  We also take additional care to wipe down the surfaces in our patient waiting area, front desk, and patient restrooms.

Hands are washed and thoroughly dried continuously throughout the day as well as before and after using rubber gloves when working with patients.  And as always, we wear surgical masks when needed during all interactions with our chemotherapy patients and any other patient who warrants this.

Southwest Women’s Oncology’s office and clinical staff are one of the few places you do NOT HAVE TO FEAR if you understand the guidelines.  And we hope that is a relief.

If you feel sick or have flu-like symptoms, stay home, and call your health provider.  Do NOT go directly to a public hospital to help act responsibly and preventatively. You can also call the NM Dept of Health directly at 855-600-3453 if you think you are affected to obtain testing and stay quarantined at home.

Sincerely,

Southwest Women’s Oncology
