Compassionate, Evidence-Based Cancer Care

Dr. Rubina Ratnaparkhi

Board-Certified Gynecologic Oncologist

Dr. Rubina Ratnaparkhi is a fellowship-trained gynecologic oncologist who specializes in gynecologic cancers, including ovarian, endometrial, cervical, vaginal, vulvar, and gestational trophoblastic disease. She is Da Vinci robotic surgery certified and has extensive experience with sentinel lymph node mapping, an approach that helps reduce lymphedema and improve recovery after surgery.

Her approach to care centers on partnership, trust, and clarity. “I want my patients to feel informed and supported as we make decisions together,” she says. “Every person’s story and goals are different, and those differences guide how I deliver care.”

Dr. Ratnaparkhi’s research focuses on improving cancer prevention, treatment access, and quality of life for women with gynecologic cancers. Her recent work includes studies on cervical cancer screening in underserved populations, increasing participation in clinical trials, and integrating palliative care earlier in the treatment process.

She serves on national committees for the Society for Gynecologic Oncology and the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology, contributing to educational and clinical guideline content development.

Outside of Work

I cherish time with my husband and my dog, Gemma, and I dance whenever possible. Yoga, pilates, Orangetheory, and hiking keep me active, while exploring museums and catching live music feed my curiosity. Traveling is one of my greatest joys. Recent favorite destinations include the UK, Portugal, Singapore, Seoul, Hong Kong, and Japan. Most evenings, you’ll find me curled up with a good book and a cup of tea.
